It is with pleasure and relief that we announce that we have found a new home for the Foundation's collection: in the well-known and venerable Ackermannshof centrally located in the city of Basel! At the end of 2022, all of Peter Birkhäuser's paintings and graphic art and all other documents will be moved there from the studio in Binningen. A generous private donation makes this step possible for the Foundation. We rent three rooms on the second floor of the atmospheric baroque building, which is also home to other cultural institutions. On the first floor there is a large room for events and a restaurant. The new location guarantees the proper storage of Peter Birkhäuser's work and provides space to work with it. We are planning events and small exhibitions and look forward to presenting the new premises to you in the new year.
